Lucky Challenge #160

Today it is Tuesday and time for a new weekly challenge over at SweetStamps.com. The theme this week is Lucky. I honestly had some serious trouble making a card this week because I just didn't feel like I had any products that would fit the theme. So it was extremely challenging for me, but I sort of ended up putting something together in the end. In a way I do love the fact that I get challenged every now and then and just go outside of your comfort zone and try something different. Sometimes it may work, and other times it may not. The process is always fun though and l find that I learn a lot from having to really fight to get a card done.

As always don't forget to join in on the fun this week for a chance to win some amazing prizes. Make sure to visit the SweetStamps blog for more information and the complete Challenge Rules.

Simple Sunday #4 - Wishing You

Today I am sharing another Simple Sunday card and video here on the blog. I do realize that it is Monday today, but I had a very hectic weekend so I just didn't have the time to upload the video yesterday. For this card I am using products from Whiff of Joy

I didn't really know what I wanted to do for this card and I started going trough all of my drawers and ended up with a cute trio of butterflies. I don't know what it is about butterflies that make me go back to them time after time. I also used some scraps from another card I made a few weeks ago and when I was done I noticed that the two cards were a bit too similar, but I just didn't want to redo the card. If you are interested in getting any of these supplies for yourself, please visit the Whiff of Joy shop.

I have also uploaded a tutorial video that you can find on my YouTube channel or here below.

Sending Hugs And Kisses

Today I am sharing a new card using dies and stamps from Whiff of Joy. I wanted to make a card that could be used for a variety of things and I also wanted it to be pretty clean and simple. I decided I wanted to put some rainbow colored hearts on the front of the card but I didn't really have any die that looked the way I wanted. But I did find this hearts banner die with a bunch of really beautiful hearts. So I decided to use that die in a bit of a different way. I cut out all of the larger hearts from the die and used them for my card. Hope you like it. If you are interested in getting any of these supplies for yourself, please visit the Whiff of Joy shop.
