Roses - Art Journal #3

Today I wanted to share this months Art Journal page. This time I have used a few stamps from Heartfelt Creations that I have had for a while and almost forgot to use. I really love the stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations. They always make stamps and dies that match so that you can combine them and layer them in so many different ways. 

I also uploaded a video on my YouTube Channel if you want to see my creative process. I did speed it up quite a bit and added some music.

Last day of Hearfelt Creations

Idag är det sista gången mina alster kommer att synas på Heartfelt Creations sida.
Tyvärr gick jag inte vidare till nästa omgång utan var en av de 7 medlemmar som fick lämna gruppen. 10 stycken nya har kommit till och 10 stycken av oss "gamla" fick stanna. Att jag inte var en av dem var väntat, men inte desto mindre tråkigt för det. Jag får istället välkomna de nya medlemmarna och tacka för alla underbara produkter jag fått och de härliga 6 månaderna med företaget.

Today is the last time I'll post for Heartfelt Creations. I wasn't one of of the ten members who got to stay, instead I was one of the seven that had to leave. It was expected, but still a bit sad. But I am so happy for the time I had with the company and I want to send a bit thank you to Heartfelt Creations for all the wonderful products I have received these past 6 months. I also want to congratulate all the members who are staying on the team and welcome all of the new ladies. 

Here is the final card I made

HCPC 3504 Bold Vintage Floret Background PreCut Set
354803 Scallop Oval Large
354802 Classic Oval Lg
Cardstock, Adirondack Pitch Black, Black Marker, Black Soot Distress Stickles

Project Instructions:


Cut a piece of light cream cardstock to about 8-1/4" wide and 5" tall, fold in half to make the card base. 


Cut an oval hole in the card front with the oval spellbinders die.

Cut a piece of the same cardstock and cut a hole with the scalloped oval die ans line it up with the hole in the card base. Trim the edges. Make sure to take a slightly larger scalloped oval die so you can make a frame. 

Cut a piece of transparency and adhere to the back of the card front. I used some old packaging. 

Cut a small oval frame and adhere on top of the transparency to hide the glue on the inside. 

Stamp the background image on the inside of the card in black ink. Make sure to place it so that it can be seen through the transparency. 

Stamp half the sentiment on the inside of the card and half on the front. 

Draw some faux stitching lines around the front of the card. 

Finally add some black stickles to the flower on the inside. 

 Let it dry and the card is finished!

Nu är det dags för ett DT kort för Heartfelt Creations igen. 
Nu är det näst sista kortet på min DT-period. Känns lite tråkigt.

Denna gång gjorde jag ett kort som är lite utanför vad jag normalt sett brukar göra.
Har använd papper från Vintage Floret kollektionen och svart cardstock.

Time for a DT card for Heartfelt Creations again.
This time I made a card that is a little bit out of the ordinary for me.
I used the beautiful papers from the Vintage Floret Collection and some black cardstock.

HCDP1 227 Vintage Floret Paper Collection
Cardstock, Copic Markers, Adirondack Pitch Black, Black Marker, Glossy Accents
 
Project Instructions:
Cut a piece of light cream cardstock to about 8-1/4" wide and 5" tall, fold in half to make the card base. Cut a piece of patterned paper to 5-1/2" x 3-3/4" and draw a black line around them with a black marker. Then mat it with black cardstock. Cut a piece of patterned paper to 2-3/4" x 4-1/2" and draw a black line around them with a black marker. Then mat it with black cardstock. Cut out the sentiment from one of the papers in the paper pack, draw a black line around it and put in on black cardstock. Adhere the pieces to the card base. Stamp the flowers and leaves on white paper and color them with copic markers. Cut out the images with the coordinating dies and glue them together to make flowers. Add some glossy accents to the flower centers and fold in the leaves to make a bud. Adhere the flower to the card. Finally draw a black line around the edge of the card.

Blev ett grönt litet kort med en söt fjäril på. Tycker verkligen om stämplarna från Heartfelt Creations, de passar till så mycket och det är så otroligt roligt att det finns tillhörande dies som gör att jag kan stansa ut bilderna enkelt.

Cardstock, Distress Markers, Chalk Ink, Black Staz On ink, Stickles, Washi Tape

Cut a piece of green cardstock to about 8-1/4" wide and 5" tall, fold in half to make the card base. Cut a piece of the same cardstock slightly smaller and distress the edges with chalk ink in green and brown. Adhere a strip of washi tape to the bottom part of the piece. Stamp the twining asters, 3 delicate asters and the butterfly on watercolor paper and color them in with distress markers. Cut out the twining asters with the ovals die from spellbinders and use the coordinating aster die to cut out the aster flowers. Adhere the flowers to the twining asters image. Use the scalloped ovals die to cut out a scalloped oval ad adhere it to the back of the twining asters image. Adhere it to the piece of green cardstock and add some stickles to the flower center and cut out the butterfly and adhere it to the image. Finally adhere the piece to the card base.
