Flowers Challenge #119

Har äntligen blivit något piggare och kan i alla fall börja leva igen. Är dock fortfarande riktigt slö och har problem med hosta och huvudvärk, men det går väl säkert över det med. Är jobbigt att bli så där ordentligt sjuk att det tar flera veckor att bli frisk igen.

I veckan blir det fullt upp med jobb och inte så mycket annat gjort, men jag har i alla fall ett kort att visa från SweetStamps.com.

Finally my cold is getting better and I can get up at start catching up with all the chores I need to do. I really hate when I get so ill that it takes several weeks to get better.

This week is a really busy one with lots of work, but I do have a card to show you before the week gets too busy. It is a card for SweetStamps.com for our weekly challenge. This time we have a Flower challenge and I have made a card with an adorable silhouette flower stamp that I love.

Challenge #118

Är fortfarande sjuk och ser inte direkt någon bättring. Förstår inte varför det inte går över någongång. Det var ju lika när jag var sjuk sist, då var jag förkyld hade feber och grejer i över 2 veckor. Det känns inte normalt.

I am still ill and are just lying in bed with a cold. Don't really understand why it isn't getting any better, it has been over a week now.

Monthly Technique Challenge: Flip Flop Card

It's technique challenge at SweetStamps today and I will be showing you a card I have made using this months technique.

This month's technique is a different kind of card, a flip flop card. 
I had a hard time making my card since this type of cards isn't what I normally do. But even though I wasn't all that excited about the card I think it turned out ok and it is actually fun to try out new techniques.

Som vanligt blir det mest kort och sånt här i bloggen numera, men det kanske blir ändring på det framöver. Känner mig för lat för att orka ta mig iväg och fota saker, men jag hoppas att inspirationen kommer tillbaka någongång så att jag kan ta min nya kamera och gå ut och fotografera igen.

Men för tillfället blir det mest kort som sagt och idag är inget undantag. Har gjort ett kort till ett företag som heter The Paper Nest och jag har använt en digital bild som kallas Fairy Under Mushroom. Är alltid bra att ha en uppsättning Tack-kort att kunna ge bort lite då och då.

Today I want to show you a new card I have made for The Paper Nest using an image I really like. It is the Fairy Under Mushroom image. I just love all of those little fairy images.

I colored this image with copic markers, but unfortunately I didn't really get the coloring as good as I wanted to. I don't know what happened the day I did the card, things just kept ending badly for me. I redid the coloring about 3 times and this was the best one I got. Not that I have ever been very good at coloring images, but this time I think I might have lost any talent I previously had. But it's ok anyway, I guess all of us have bad days every now and then right?

This card is pretty simple and I just used white cardstock, a piece of patterned paper, a spellbinders die, some washi tape and stickles. I did some paper piecing by printing the mushroom and fairy wings twice and glues them down on the image to get some more dimension to the card. And of course I had to add stickles to the wings.
