Simple Sunday #12 - Happiest of days

Today I am sharing a card over at Whiff of Joy for there Make A Card Monday theme and I'll also be showing you this card here on my own blog. I have made a pretty simple and easy to make card using the lovely paper pad from Whiff of Joy and some arrow dies.

To make this card I used a the arrow die and die cut it twice, once to the arrows pointed to the right and the second time to the left. The sentiment is also from Whiff of Joy and it is one of my favorite sentiments. It can really be used for any type of card. As a final touch I added some twine around the front panel and adhered the piece with foam squares. Unfortunately the color of the twine didn't really match the patterned paper, but it was the best I could find and it'll have to do.

I have also uploaded a tutorial video that you can find on my YouTube channel or here below.

From The Heart

It has been way too long since I posted a new card and video, but there is just something about spring that makes me lazy and less focused on my cardmaking. Also I have been playing a little too much video games lately so there haven't been enough time to do a lot of stuff that needs to be done.

But now I have made a few cards and videos that is ready to be uploaded so hopefully I am back on track now.

As I said a new video is up now and I have made a simple card using dies and stamps from Whiff of Joy. I hope you like it.

Polka Dots Challenge #169

It's time for a new challenge over at SweetStamps.com and this week the theme is polka dots. I had planned to make my own polka dot background, but realized that I didn't have any stamps that were completely round. So I had to improvise a bit and use some flower stamps and just drops of color. I made a very simple card with just one layer, but sometimes I think that is enough.

As always don't forget to join in on the fun this week for a chance to win some amazing prizes. Make sure to visit the SweetStamps blog for more information and the complete Challenge Rules.
