I realized that it has been a quite a while since I last posted an art journal page so I went ahead and did a page yesterday. I made pretty simple, almost one layer page with lots of beautiful purple shades. I used some products from Prima, Ranger and stamps from Whiff of Joy.
I also made a video for this Art Journal spread and you can find the tutorial on my YouTube channel or here below.
Last week I shared a card on the blog for the Swedish shop Scraplagret. I made a card using some products I got from there and I wanted to share it here on my blog too. The papers I have used for this card are from a company called Maja Designs and I have to say I really like these papers. I usually have a very clean and simple style when I make cards but I still have a bit of a weak spot for distressed and vintage looking products. So I had to try these papers and make something that may be a bit outside of my comfort zone.
The sentiment is letter stickers and is Swedish for "For You".
I made a card a while back for the Swedish shop Scraplagret and I thought I would share it here on the blog. This card is made with products from Prima and a stamp that I have made myself. It is Swedish and says something like "I big pile of hugs just for you".
Today I have another simple card to share and this time I used Distress Inks, an embossing folder and dies and stamps from Whiff of Joy. I was feeling a bit inspired by the summer (even though the weather here is really bad at the moment), and I wanted to make more romantic girly kind of card using butterflies of course. To make this card I used a standard European A6 cardbase and a piece of cardstock that I embossed with an embossing folder and some distress inks. I also used some butterflies from the Cute Butterfly Trio set from Whiff of
Joy. How can you not want to have butterflies on a summery card?
I also made a video for this card and you can find the tutorial on my YouTube channel or here below.
I never managed to get a video up on Sunday so I am posting it today instead. I have made a card using dies and stamps from Whiff of Joy and as usual it is a very clean and simple card. To make this card I used a standard European A6 cardbase and two pieces of cardstock, one blue and one white. I used my Weathered Wood Distress Stain to me ink splatter on my white piece of cardstock and then I cut out a pink heart using the Nested Hearts Die from Whiff of Joy. I wanted to use another color than blue since I always seem to make monochromatic cards and this time I wanted to do something different. I am still not sure that was the best decision though.
I stamped the sentiment in jet black Archival Ink and added some paper twine around the heart before I assembled the card and added some enamel dots and shimmer.
