Christmas Tag Challenge #128

Another week has passed and my wedding is getting closer and closer. Since I am busy with planning and getting things ready for the wedding I have made my cards for the SweetStamps Challenges in advance and have scheduled these posts. 

Today I am somewhere on the road in southern Sweden since we are taking a trip to bring home a new cat to our home. I have bought a new male and I am so excited to bring him home. I'll of course post pictures of him when I get back on Friday.

Back to the card this week. This time the theme is Christmas Tags and I have made a red tag with some Dylusions Spray Inks and stamps from SweetStamps. I also used a diecut from SweetCuts.

Super FREE Saturday - "Hello" Speech Cloud

Today i Uniko Studio is having another fabulous Super FREE Saturday. This month brings you a super trendy digital collection featuring speech clouds, lots of "hello's" and a modern floral digital patterned paper.

I have made my card using one of the hello sentiments and the gorgeous flower paper. I also used some of the colors in the patterned paper to make my own colored cardstock to use behind the sentiment. 

 

 

This Super FREE Saturday collection can be downloaded for free via the Uniko Studio website. Simply register on the website if you haven't already and download the file - easy!

Christmas Greenery Challenge #127

It has been a few days since my last post for SweetStamps but now it is time again for another challenge and another card. I missed last weeks challenge due to the surprise bachelorette party that my friends and family had planned for me. 

This week the theme is Christmas Greenery and I have used the stamp called Holly Branch for my card. I colored it with watercolor pencils and distressed the edges with some Distress Ink.

Shades™ Ink Spots Nightfall

Förra helgen blev jag kidnappad av min familj och mina vänner och togs på en trevlig möhippa. Fick skjuta lerduvor, något jag uppenbarligen var riktigt kass på. Träffade inte en enda duva, men det var ju skoj ändå. Sen blev det bad och spa och god mat. Hade en trevlig kväll och det var skönt att komma bort lite och få längta till bröllopet igen. Det har ju varit så mycket planering och förberedelser att man nästan glömt bort att njuta och längta efter själva bröllopet. Men nu så är det inte ens tre veckor kvar och det ska bli så skoj.

Last week I was kidnapped and taken on my bachelor party. I had so much fun and now I just can't wait for the wedding in less than three weeks. There are still lots of things to do, but I am sure I'll get it all done in time.

It's the time again for a new post for Uniko Studio. This month we are revisiting an old set called Lable Love: Thank You. Don't you just love a perfect Thank You set that you can use for all of those thank you cards. I make a lot of thank you cards and this set is great.

I made a pretty colorful card this time, not really what I usually do. But I wanted to use those Dylusions Spray Inks that have just been sitting there in my room for quite some time now. I can't say the card ended up the way I had planned and there was a few mistakes here and there. But who says you can't cover up your mistakes and make it look like it was meant to be that way from the beginning?

Christmas Parchment Challenge #125

I made my card using a die called Classy Deer from SweetCuts that I cut from some vellum. I love this deer for Christmas projects. I wanted snow on the card and couldn't really figure out what to do until I started embossing my sentiment. I realized that if I spread out some white and glitter embossing powder on my card that could end up looking like snow. So thats what I did and I really like the effect it gave.

Snow Challenge #123

Today there a new challenge over at SweetStamps.com and this time the theme is Snow. 

I made a card using a snowman tag and a leaf stamp. I also added lots of glitter and snow like glitter to make the card look "snowy". When making this card nothing ended up the way I had planned and I found myself having to redo the card last minute just to try and save what little I could. Even though the card is much better than before now, it is still not very good. But there was no time for another redo and seriously I didn't have the energy to make a new one either. And I guess sometimes one just have to accept a failure, get over it and move on. So thats what I did, I moved on :)
I do love the stamps I used on the card though and that snowman tag actually has a to: & from: sentiment on it and it will be perfect for this years Christmas gifts.
